arconsis was commissioned to develop an offline machine learning application for Android that automatically captures vehicle registration data. By using neural networks and artificial intelligence, the application scans and identifies each field and text of a respective vehicle registration. The data is then transfered to an existing server application for further processing and compared with previously stored and updated data. The service is updated constantly and successfully relieves DEKRA engineers in their daily work.
